Welcome to the Deanery of Essex, the largest Deanery in the Diocese of Huron. We are the most southern deanery in the Anglican Church of Canada located in Essex County, encompassing Pelee Island. Our 28 churches are arranged into 23 parishes offering a variety of worship styles. As well, Canterbury College, affiliated with the University of Windsor, offers educational opportunities and affordable housing to Anglicans and others who come to our area to complete their post-secondary schooling.
The Deanery of Essex maintains a strong commitment to children and youth and as well, offers many opportunities for inter-parish fellowship of an intergenerational nature.
